The east side of Copper Mountain is naturally setup for more advanced skiers with more intermediate in the middle and easier or beginner on the far west side. And, for those that want to take a break from skiing down the hill, Copper Mountain has many miles of cross-country trails too. In fact, in the summer one can ride a bike on paved bike paths from Copper Mountain down to the Town of Frisco and throughout Summit County.

Copper Mountain is located at 9700 feet in elevation and has a self contained destination village resembling a small European mountain town with all the shops, fun and unique bars and restaurants coupled with tremendous lodging and resort real estate. All located right at Copper Mountain so that visitors staying in any of the many new condos, townhomes and, even, some homes will find it easy to get around and enjoy the skiing, the apres skiing and the nightlife.

Many invest in Copper Condos and real estate and offset their investment from the rentals they receive during ski season as well as from Copper Mountain's conventions and many, many activities and special events put on throughout the year. And, let's not forget the golf course for those seeking warmer activities or rafting or fishing in the nearby lakes, such as Lake Dillon from the town of Frisco or Dillon, and streams of the CO Rocky Mountains.
