Looking into the future for the Town of Dillon could include plans for a general waterfront facelift at the town owned Marina Park property improving mountain real estate views of the lake front area. The park area offers activities within view of the town of Frisco CO just across the lake; which also offers its own array of Frisco co property.

The initial design encompasses the area between the mountain real estate condos and the lake just to the east of the dam all the way to the current location of the marina complex. From the marina one can ride the water taxi to Frisco co real estate as well as Frisco Colorado's own marina.
The town has set aside more than $300,000 for the improvements, which are already underway and noticiable as one enters the town from Frisco, to the waterfront area. Some improvements already approved for this year and the upcoming building season includes a new pavilion, picnic structures and new playgrounds.
Features of the preliminary plan include:
• Parking lots along Lodgepole Street
• Replacement of part of Lodgepole Street with an alpine meadow garden
• Rotation of the existing Marina Park parking lot
• Multiple smaller playgrounds
• Expanded plaza space around the new pavilion
• An alpine garden visible from the lake next to the pavilion
• An expanded amphitheater
• Trail location and expansion recommendations
