Winter fun abounds and is the reason most locals moved here in the first place to find the mountain real estate that would allow them to ski and enjoy the winter sports and activities that locations such as Frisco CO or Breckenridge have to offer. It is truly a winter wonderland full of CO real estate and winter activities, yet, the summer is why people stay…sunny warm weather that rarely goes over 80 degrees combined with unlimited summer activities such as taking advantage of the Frisco Colorado marina and Lake Dillon make Summit County a unique year round playground.
Very few areas in Colorado or the nation have as much to enjoy for winter or summer activities as Summit County; which is one of the reason so many seek out Frisco real estate or other Colorado mountain towns in Summit County. People come here for the skiing and the winter activities, so it is no wonder that Summit County can get more than 30 feet of snow in a year! A-Basin short for Arapahoe Basin ends up with 30 feet or more annually of that white gold - snow, Copper Mountain comes in around 20 feet of snow a year and areas like Frisco or Silverthorne get much less; Silverthorne ends up with typically less than 10 feet of snow each year. Even with more snow, the area is above 9,000 feet in elevation, has very low humidity and usually 300 days of sunshine! What a terrific location for Colorado Real Estate and now is a terrific time to purchase your Frisco property.
